Your best friend dies. His soul goes missing. The psychopomp responsible for delivering his soul to the afterlife (and thus seemingly responsible for his disappearance) recruits you to help find him before her boss finds out what happened. As you help her search, you discover your friend isn’t the only soul MIA in the past few months. You enlist the help of a pair of psychic siblings (one who has bad blood with your dead friend), a demon criminal on the run, and other colorful characters to get to the bottom of the mystery.
